DisneylandPark Updates

Ticket Prices at Disneyland Resort are being raised once again.

Disneyland and California Adventure have raised their ticket costs yet again, with holiday surge pricing rising even higher around Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Daily ticket prices are increasing by 3% to 8%, while regular daily parking fees are increasing by 20%. According to the LA Times, the parks last raised ticket rates by up to 5% in February 2020.

Originally, the most expensive one-day non-park hopper ticket was $154; however, as you can see, that price has risen to $159.

For individuals who want to add the Park Hopper option to their 1-day ticket, costs can reach $219 on weekends and at popular seasons of the year, such as around the holidays.

According to Martin Lewison, a business administration professor, and theme park expert at Farmingdale State College in New York, higher ticket prices may turn away some Disney fans who are upset that they are being charged more for fewer attractions, but the price hike is likely to generate more revenue overall for Walt Disney Co. even if attendance drops slightly.

Many Disney fans are dissatisfied that the company continues to raise prices without reintroducing more services such as character meet-and-greets, parades, and other attractions.

What are your thoughts on the recent price hike?
