Disney Unveils FIRST GLIMPSE of Upcoming Addition to EPCOT

For those who’ve visited EPCOT lately, the park is in the midst of a significant makeover.

With the construction zones scattered across the park, you might be wondering when all the work will finally conclude! Well, it appears that progress is being made on one of the projects as Disney has just released an initial preview of a FRESH mural slated for inclusion in CommuniCore Hall! The official Disney World Cast and Community Facebook page has shared several snapshots showcasing the design of the forthcoming mural. This artwork will adorn the exterior of CommuniCore Hall upon its opening.

Disney has described the mural as featuring “timeless EPCOT pavilions, patterns, and forms.” They’ve even managed to incorporate a charming nod to Figment!

Naturally, the mural includes the iconic Monorail traversing through it!

CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, situated in EPCOT’s World Celebration area, are set to position EPCOT’s International Festivals “at the heart of Walt Disney World.” This dynamic duo will constitute the dedicated Festival hub, acting as the new central point for seasonal festivals and live happenings.

Situated within the plaza, CommuniCore Hall is poised to offer a diverse range of experiences, encompassing gastronomy, art, live music, and more. The space will house a demo kitchen, a mixology bar, and areas for exhibitions and galleries.

On the right side, you’ll find the buildings housing Connections Cafe, Connections Eatery, Club Cool, and Creations Shop. On the left, you can catch a glimpse of the upcoming CommuniCore Hall, along with other spaces linked to EPCOT’s ongoing transformations.
