Mother and Son duplicate 1971 photo at Magic Kingdom for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

Susan Kroll and her son Bill Kroll were both at the Magic Kingdom on October 1st, 1971, to celebrate Walt Disney World’s opening day. They took a photo in front of Cinderella’s Castle to commemorate the event.

They chose to recreate that opening day for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary this past weekend, wearing the same clothing they wore in 1971.

“It was 50 years in the making… and here it is 1971 to 2021 – then and now – thanks for all the memories Mom and Walt Disney!” Bill Kroll wrote on a Facebook post
